Miwa Yoshida, DC, is an experienced chiropractor and center director at Health Advantage Physical Medicine in Pasadena, California. She started her career as a rugby football trainer for Kobe Steelers (10 times Japanese national champion) and loves to study sports injury and training techniques.
Dr. Yoshida has helped train and treat boxing champions and served as a team doctor for the professional basketball team in Japan. She has dedicated her life to learning holistic medicine practices, including acupuncture and chiropractic.
In 1989, Dr. Yoshia graduated from the Meiji College of Oriental Medicine in San Francisco, California. In 1999, she graduated from the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic School in California. Dr. Yoshia was an instructor at the Southern California University of Health Sciences in Whittier, California, and supervising doctor/clinician for ten years.
In 2009, Dr. Yoshia co-founded the Health Advantage Health & Wellness Center. And in 2015, she co-founded Health Advantage Physical Medicine. Her knowledge of Eastern and Western medicine, nutrition, supplementation, and sports injury has helped many patients with challenging conditions.
Dr. Yoshida enjoys skiing and snowboarding. She used to be a gymnast and figure skater and has been very active her entire life, including playing soccer. She has four boys who are involved in karate and soccer.
